E/One Improves Grinder Pump Serviceability with New Composite Components

Environment One (E/One) recently converted the cast iron suction housing and control cover on their pumps to an engineered thermoplastic composite.

These new enhancements to the E/One pump design will improve serviceability and reliability on new pumps and any older pumps being serviced.

By replacing the cast iron suction housing and control cover with an engineered thermoplastic composite, these parts will no longer corrode. These upgrades will also make the pump more than 20 pounds lighter, making it even easier to service E/One grinder pumps.

The new composite suction housing and control cover are also backwards compatible and can replace cast iron parts on older pump models, allowing customers to improve the life of their pumps even further.

The composite suction housing was released in May of 2024 and the composite control cover will be available in December of 2024.

Covalen is proud to represent Environment One to our customers across Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Environment One not only created the grinder pump category, but consistently leads the industry both in system deployment and innovation.
